Manual Log Loading Bundle with Toe Boards for HD36V2 & HD38

SKU: LOGLOADING-M-HD36-HD38

Streamline manual log loading, taper adjustment, and rotation on your HD sawmill bed with our Manual Log Loading Bundle.

Ideal for operations lacking hydraulics or heavy-lifting equipment, this bundle includes log loading ramps and a winch system for easy solo log loading and precise positioning on the cutting bed. It features an adjustable winch mast and a 2-speed, 1800lbs rated winch—low gear for larger logs and high gear for smaller diameters. The included log turning hook assists with heavy log rotation and positioning, complemented by the patented Automatic Dog Assist that automatically adapts to a log's outer contour for secure placement. Ensure cuts parallel to the heartwood with two Toe Boards assemblies, leveraging a manual hydraulic bottle jack for height adjustment and steel rollers for smooth log repositioning. An additional log dog receiver set enables quick and easy log clamp relocation across various stations on your mill.

The bundle includes:

  • Ramp & Winch with Hook Package (LM34-41400)
  • Manual Toe Boards (set of 2) (MILL-41285)

Questions?

Chat with a Norwood specialist.

Standard, Norwood band sawmills are 16-feet long (4.8m) so you can cut upto 13 -feet (4m) long depending on the model.

To saw longer, add optional 4-foot (1.2m) log deck extensions. You can saw logs of any length in stationary configuration – some Norwood owners are sawing logs over 40-feet (12.1m) long!If you want to add the trailer system to your Norwood, you can still add bed extensions, but cannot go as long.

With the HD36V2 or HD38, you could add one permanent 4-ft (1.2m) log deck extension and up to two 2-ft (0.6m) detachable extensions to saw logs up to 21-feet (6.4m).
